Missouri Coalition for the Environment
Skills important for this position are initiative, analytical ability, self-discipline, written and oral communication proficiency. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated commitment to the environment, and the preservation and conservation of Missouri's natural resources, as well as experience in nonprofit fundraising, administration, and communications with a record of honesty and integrity.
pecific responsibilities include: Major gift tracking, recognition, and cultivation; membership retention and recruiting; member and donor events; donor prospect identification and cultivation; evaluation and assessment; and system improvement. Maintaining the confidentiality and security of membership information, and the accuracy of the membership records are also primary responsibilities. The Director of Membership and Development will work cooperatively with the Coalition's Executive Director, other staff, volunteers and board members in carrying out these tasks and meeting other goals of the Coalition.

Founded in 1969, the Coalition works to protect and restore our environment through education, citizen action and legal defense.
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to travel required. Good driving record and valid driving license required.
